Dr. Maurice Pedo

Dr. Maurice Pedo is a finance expert with over 20 years’ experience across the public and private sectors. He currently serves as Program Manager – Finance & Strategy for the Financing Locally-Led Climate Action (FLLoCA) Program, a World Bank-funded initiative under the National Treasury and Economic Planning. He previously worked as a Financial Management Specialist within the Ministry’s Project Implementation Unit (PIU) supporting World Bank-funded projects.

Dr. Pedo brings extensive expertise in World Bank financing instruments, including Investment Project Financing (IPF), Performance for Results (PforR), and Disbursement Linked Indicators (DLIs), alongside strong experience in development finance, procurement, monitoring and evaluation, and program design and restructuring.

He holds a PhD in Project Management (JKUAT), an MBA in Finance (Kabarak University), and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance (KCA University). He is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPAK), a Certified PPP Professional (CP3P), and a registered tax agent with the Kenya Revenue Authority.
